JAKE!

While I was gone at girls camp Jake got into a bit of trouble( Sam the willing accomplice). I think Brian tried mail him to a foreign land!

Happy Birthday Brian!

Brian turned 27 on Saturday. We celebrated by going to Six flags the Tuesday before his birthday. It was great the kids stayed home and there were no lines AWESOME! We got soaked on the white water rapids ride ( it's not nice that they will let bi standers pay a quarter to hit you in the head with giant squirt guns while you are on the ride) The other rides were also fun we love roller coasters. On Brian's actual birthday I made him shrimp for dinner and watched E.T. with him , silly yes but I HATE that movie and have never watched it all the way threw ( it scares me ) so it was a big deal that we watched it together. I will never watch it again. Happy Birthday Brian we love you and look forward to another year of fun together

Happy 4th of July!

We had an awesome 4th we spent all day with family. First we went to my Grandparents house for a b.b.q and my whole family was there we had a lot of fun and lot of laughs. The food we great and my ant Lou brought cheese cake , awesome! Then we went down to Brian's parents house were they also b.b.b for us Doug made the best ribs! Sam got to go with his Grandpa to see his big rig , he thought that was great but of course all he could talk about after that is going with Grandpa to drop off his load. When it got dark we went out front to start fireworks , I gave Sam some snaps which he thought were a lot of fun. Jake saw Sam was throwing something and wanted to get in on the action so I let Jake throw them too ( am I a bad mom ? ) Jake loves to throw thing so of course he loved it. When the sky show started both boys go scared ( Sam doesn't like loud noise) Sam asked for a tent , I ended up taking him inside , we watched from the front window. Jake was scared until Grandma gave him a blanket then he feel asleep. All in all it was a wonder full independence day!

p.s. Jake looks like white trash because he got his cute outfit all dirty so I had to put him in his jamies , I didn't take the cute ones.
